Keith is the ARES Emergency Coordinator and RACES Radio Officer for Ulster County, New York. He holds an Extra Class license and is an active member of the Overlook Mountain Amateur Radio Club and the ARRL. He is also an ARRL Field Instructor and Field Examiner for emergency communications and an ARRL Volunteer Examiner.
Keith has over 30 years of experience in designing, developing, and delivering training courses in both professional and volunteer environments. He holds a Master of Science in Teaching degree from SUNY New Paltz and professional certification as an IBM Certified Learning Professional.
In over 35 years at IBM, Keith has developed technical training courses and taught them across the US and Europe. He served for almost 20 years as a volunteer leadership trainer with the Boy Scouts of America, serving on the faculty of the Philmont National Training Center and leading numerous regional and local training events as small as 3 participants and as large as 1,000. He has also volunteered as a trainer with Optimist International, the Tourette Syndrome Association, and the American Youth Soccer Organization.
